Law firm Smith Anderson advised NovaQuest Private Equity on its acquisition of CoreRx Inc., which provides contract-based development and manufacturing services for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Sheppard Mullin and Johnson Pope advised Clearwater, Fla.-based CoreRx on the deal, for which no financial terms were disclosed.
“This transaction is an endorsement of CoreRx’s success to date and its potential for future growth,” Todd R. Daviau, CoreRx president and CEO, said in a statement.
Daviau called NovaQuest “a firm with deep health care and life sciences expertise and a long history of partnering with market-leading businesses to take them to the next level.”
Affiliates of Signet Healthcare Partners, an investor in CoreRx since 2015, will retain a minority position, according to the statement.
