Sheppard Mullin Recruits Bratt, Owens as Partners to San Diego

Jenny Hill Bratt and Matthew Owens have joined Sheppard Mullin as partners in San Diego, Calif., the firm said Tuesday.

Bratt, who joins the tax practice group and estate planning and wealth transfer team, will focus on US and international estate and income tax planning, trusts and estates administration, family and closely held business planning, and charitable planning and exempt organizations, according to Sheppard Mullin.

Owens joins the business trial practice group as part of the private wealth and fiduciary litigation team. He works on trust, estate, and inheritance disputes in probate court, Sheppard Mullin said.

They join from Withersworldwide along with special counsel Allison Whitmore Hirsh and associates Mariah Lohse, Nicole M. Paschoal, and Austin Prewitt.
