Thomas DeSplinter joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton as a partner in its corporate practice group in Chicago, the firm announced Thursday.
DeSplinter represents private equity, independent sponsors, and large multi-national corporations in the energy, health care, manufacturing, retail, and technology industries, the firm said. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, debt financings, corporate spinoffs, and dispositions of assets.
He was previously a partner at McGuireWoods.
