Sheppard Hires Buch, Danko as Partners in the Chicago Office

Christopher Buch and Balazs Danko joined Sheppard as partners in its Chicago office, the firm announced Wednesday. Buch joined the corporate practice group, while Danko joined the tax practice group.

Buch represents shareholders and companies in connection with tax-advantaged sales of securities to ESOPs and advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on investments in acquisitions of ESOP-owned businesses. He acts for plan sponsors, fiduciaries and lenders on ESOP transactions, succession planning, corporate restructurings and other strategic transactions involving employee ownership.
