Shearman’s Restructuring Co-Head Joel Moss Jumps to Cahill (1)

Shearman & Sterling’s co-head of the financial restructuring and insolvency practice is joining Cahill Gordon & Reindel as a partner in New York.

Joel Moss, who joins the firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice, sees a “tremendous opportunity” given his creditor-based focus and Cahill’s leveraged finance and high-yield practices, he said in an interview.

“The goal is to make bankruptcy an all cycle practice where you’re doing restructuring work in both good times and bad,” Moss said.
