Saadia Ghazi has joined Seyfarth Shaw as a partner in its servicing and special servicing practice in the real estate department based in New York, the firm said Wednesday.
Ghazi, who joins from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, focuses on securitization, commercial real estate finance, and general corporate matters, according to Seyfarth. She represents issuers, underwriters, mortgage loan sellers, master servicers, special servicers, and B-piece buyers in connection with securitization transactions.
She has experience representing companies in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate governance, and shareholder activism and defense, said the firm.
