Seyfarth Names Almon First Female Leader in 77-Year History (1)

Seyfarth Shaw has elected Lorie Almon as the firm’s chair and managing partner, making her the first female leader in its 77-year history.

Almon, co-managing partner of Seyfarth’s New York office, will initially serve as chair-elect alongside the firm’s current leader, Peter Miller, who will step down in the second half of 2023.

She will oversee Seyfarth’s global operation, taking responsibility for priorities such as growth and profitability. Almon first joined Seyfarth in 1998 and specializes in employment litigation. She serves on the firm’s executive and compensation committees.
