Alan Wilmit has joined Seyfarth Shaw as a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation department in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Wilmit has experience providing legal advice on executive compensation and employee benefit plans, programs, and arrangements, as well as in buy and sell side products and services, according to Seyfarth.
He headed the legal department’s ERISA, compensation, and benefits group at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Seyfarth said. He also served as a partner at Kramer Levin and as an assistant general counsel at Salomon Brothers, Inc.
