SentinelOne Defeats Investors’ Lawsuit Over Accounting Mishap

SentinelOne Inc. shed investor accusations that the cybersecurity company meant to overstate a key revenue metric.

The investor leading the proposed class action failed again to adequately allege facts that create an inference SentinelOne or top executives intended to defraud investors, Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. said. The US District Court for the Northern District of California judge ordered the case closed Thursday, saying he “declines the invitation to transform every accounting correction into an inference of” intent or deliberate recklessness for securities fraud claims.
