Senior Adviser to DC Mayor Joins Taft to Lead Government Group

Beverly Perry joined Taft as a partner to lead its new Government Resource and Response Group, the firm announced Tuesday.

Perry oversaw policy initiatives through the Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs, the Office of Federal and Regional Affairs, and the Office of the Secretary as senior adviser to Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Perry recently played a lead role in securing federal land for the RFK Stadium redevelopment, helping spearhead the creation of a mixed-use district and an innovative, new 65,000-seat stadium, the firm said.
