SEC Seeks to Replace All Five Members of Bruised Audit Board (1)

The US audit regulator faces its third leadership overhaul since 2017 after the SEC said it would seek candidates to fill all five seats on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

The board is operating under the interim leadership of board member George Botic after Erica Williams stepped down as chair on Tuesday. None of the board members’ terms have expired.
