Schulte Roth & Zabel has hired Gayle Klein, former co-chair of the financial litigation practice at McKool Smith, to help lead its New York-based litigation group.
Klein has represented a wide array of clients as both plaintiffs and defendants, taking on complex financial transactions, consumer class actions, and other complex litigation.
Her clients have included American Airlines, UnitedHealth Group, Sears Holdings Corporation, and multiple hedge funds and institutional investors in residential mortgage-backed securities put-back litigation.
Klein joins existing co-chairs Michael Swartz and Peter White in leading SRZ’s litigation group.
