The Satanic Temple Inc. lost its bid to revive a suit seeking to invalidate an Indiana law that prohibits remote prescribing of medications to induce abortions, after a federal appeals court said Tuesday that the group didn’t have standing.
The group lacked associational standing because it didn’t show that at least one of its members has suffered a real, concrete injury that’s separate from any generalized grievance as a result of a law that mandates doctor-only in-person distribution of abortion-inducing drugs, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said.
