Sanford Heisler Sharp Takes on Rountree as Partner in Washington

Schwanda Rountree has joined Sanford Heisler Sharp as a partner in Washington, D.C., the firm said Thursday.

Rountree previously served as acting deputy general counsel in the office of the general counsel for the labor and litigation division of the US Department of Defense, Department of Defense Education Activity, according to Sanford Heisler Sharp.

While serving as a trial attorney at the Justice Department, she conducted research on discriminatory reductions-in-force, disability and age discrimination, and retaliation matters, said the firm.
