San Francisco Mayor Looks Beyond Big Tech as Offices Sit Empty

San Francisco Mayor London Breed is preparing her city to move beyond its tech-dominated landscape, acknowledging that many remote workers will never fully return and the area needs to reinvent itself for a new economic era.

“Life as we knew it before the pandemic is not going to go back,” Breed said in an interview with Bloomberg News at City Hall. “This whole work-from-home thing is here to stay.”
