Salinas Returns to Mayer Brown With Corporate & Securities Team

Gabriel Salinas has rejoined Mayer Brown as a partner in the corporate and securities practice in Houston, the firm said Monday.

Salinas, who will focus on M&A transactions and energy transition projects, has experience with M&A, joint ventures, project development, and financings involving the power, renewables, infrastructure, and energy transition sectors, Mayer Brown said.

He was co-head of the energy innovation group and part of the private equity group at Shearman & Sterling, said Mayer Brown. He also served as general counsel and chief compliance officer at Avant Energy.
