Ropes, Quarles Guide Audax Buy of Medi-Weightloss, Inc.

Ropes & Gray represented Audax Private Equity in its acquisition of Medi-Weightloss, Inc., a Tampa-based operator of weight-loss and wellness clinics.

Quarles & Brady advised Medi-Weightloss, which says its has around 100 franchised and company-owned locations nationally. Virginia Beach-headquartered Buzz Franchise Brands is investing alongside Audax as a minority-stake partner, according to a statement. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
