Ropes & Gray Recruits Three Partners While Opening Milan Office

Cataldo (Aldo) Piccarreta, Giorgia Lugli, and Luca Maranetto joined Ropes & Gray as partners in its private equity group in a new office that has opened in Milan, the firm announced Wednesday.

Piccarreta specializes in private equity, corporate finance, and real estate, and has advised private equity funds and corporates on buyouts and joint ventures. He will become one of the co-heads of Ropes & Gray’s European Private Equity Transactions practice.
