Rite Aid Nabs Humana Vice President Kell for Compliance Post

Rite Aid Corp. has hired LaShon Kell from Humana Inc. as senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer.

Kell in her new role oversees company-wide audit and compliance programs. The Camp Hill, Pa.-based drugstore chain has more than 2,000 locations across 17 states.

As a Humana associate vice president, she led the groups responsible for conducting and supervising internal investigations and handled litigation relating to healthcare fraud. She spent more than six years at the Louisville, Ky.-based managed health care company.
