Reed Smith Recruits Kirkland’s Connelly for Philadelphia Office

Daniel Connelly has joined Reed Smith as a partner in the global corporate group in Philadelphia, Pa., the firm said Thursday.

Connelly joins from Kirkland & Ellis. He represents private fund sponsors and companies in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, and other associated transactions, according to Reed Smith.

His experience spans the consumer products, technology, media and telecommunications, diversified industrials, and aerospace and defense sectors, said the firm.
