Property Insurance Dispute Settled, Tossed by New York Court

An RLI Corp. unit agreed to a settlement-in-principle in a property insurance dispute that was transferred from Florida to New York federal court in October 2024, according to an order dismissing the case.

The case is dismissed without prejudice, and Go 770 Management LLC and Mt. Hawley Insurance Co. may submit their settlement agreement to the court within 30 days if they want it to retain jurisdiction to enforce the deal, Judge Arun Subramanian of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in a Tuesday order.
