Mark Abate joined Pillsbury as a partner in its intellectual property practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Abate joins from Goodwin Procter. He brings 30 years of patent litigation experience, according to Pillsbury.
“This hire enables us to expand our tech industry expertise, grow our footprint in New York, and adds meaningfully to the firm’s global IP platform,” said Michael Zeliger, Pillsbury’s global head of IP, in a statement.
