Michael Burke has joined Pillsbury as a partner with its insolvency and restructuring group in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Burke, a corporate restructuring lawyer with expertise in the aviation sector, focuses on restructuring and bankruptcy matters, including representing creditors’ committees, ad hoc committees, debtors, bondholders, distressed investors, indenture trustees, bank groups, and lenders, according to the firm.
He has experience in large-scale cross-border restructurings and insolvencies involving the US, Canada and Australia, and has advised clients in distressed situations across industries, including minerals and mines, telecommunications, print media, and real estate, the firm said.
