Pillsbury Adds J. Rick Taché as Intellectual Property Partner

J. Rick Taché joined Pillsbury as a partner in its intellectual property practice in San Diego, the firm announced Thursday.

Taché focuses on patent and trademark litigation before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, US District Courts, the International Trade Commission and the US Patent and Trademark Office, the firm said. He works with medical devices, artificial intelligence, aerospace, mechanical, software, hardware, internet, additive manufacturing, and business methods. He also advises clients on complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, licensing, joint ventures, joint development, original equipment manufacturer, and outsourcing agreements.

He joins from Buchalter.
