Kevin Buttery joined Pierson Ferdinand as a partner in its litigation department in Philadelphia, the firm announced Monday.
Buttery defends nursing home and assisted living facilities against claims of negligence and regulatory violations, health-care providers in malpractice suits, and accounting firms and insurance brokers against professional liability claims, the firm said. He also represents condominium associations in complex legal conflicts, assists with bankruptcy and estate disputes, and handles personal injury defense claims.
He joins from Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani.
