Texas prosecutors from left-leaning counties can continue to withhold confidential case files from Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) while the state appeals an injunction, a divided state appeals court ruled.
Although Paxton’s notice of appeal superseded the lower court injunction, the higher court kept it in place saying it needs time to review issues that are “complex.”
