Ravi Purohit has joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as co-head of its infrastructure practice in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Purohit advises companies, institutional investors, and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and dispositions, and joint ventures, according to Paul Weiss. He joins the firm as a partner in the corporate department.
He was a partner with Latham & Watkins and global vice chair of its Energy & Infrastructure group, according to Paul Weiss. Purohit has previously served as a managing director and founding member of the investment team at Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, said the firm.
