Paul Weiss Grabs Head of Simpson Thacher’s Tax Department

Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison has hired the head of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s tax department, Robert Holo, as a partner in New York.

Holo focuses on federal income taxation, with an emphasis on international and domestic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border tax matters, joint ventures, and capital markets and financing transactions.

“Rob is an exceptional tax attorney with deep experience and a sterling reputation,” Paul Weiss Chairman Brad Karp said in a statement.
