Paul Hastings Sees Departure of Investment Funds Practice Head

Paul Hastings has parted ways with New York-based partner John Budetti, who who served as global chair of the investment funds and private capital practice.

John Budetti left the firm this month following an 19-month stint there, according to his LinkedIn profile. Budetti joined Paul Hastings in April of 2023 after a nearly 17-year tenure at Kirkland & Ellis.

Budetti’s LinkedIn as of October lists his employer as “Team Budetti” in a role as “full time parent & provider of market insights.”
