Paul Hastings Recruits James Huie as Emerging Companies Partner

James Huie joined Paul Hastings as a partner in its emerging companies and venture capital practice in San Francisco, the firm announced Tuesday.

Huie advises life sciences and technology companies on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and strategic partnerships, the firm said. He also represents venture capital firms and other investors in private equity and debt financings.

He joins from Wilson Sonsini.
