Paul Hastings’ Hiring Tear Lures Paul Weiss M&A Partner Leskinen

Paul Hastings continues its string of M&A hires with a lifer from Paul Weiss’ deals division.

Kristiina Leskinen, who spent the entirety of her decade as a lawyer at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, departed the firm just over a year after making partner.

Leskinen worked on high profile transactions including guiding Time Warner Cable in its $78.7 billion merger with Charter Communications. Leskinen has also guided General Atlantic in several deals, such as in its $1.65 billion take-private acquisition of HireRight.
