Gina Marek joined Orrick as a partner in its technology transactions team in Silicon Valley, the firm announced Wednesday.
Marek advises emerging and high-growth companies on foundational inbound IP grants/rights, strategic collaborations and joint development arrangements, and bet-the-company IPR conveyances. She also represents investors in venture financings and exits and focuses on clients at the intersection of life sciences and technology, with deep experience across pharmaceuticals, healthtech, software, hardware, e-commerce, internet and media, the firm said.
She joins from Gunderson Dettmer.
