Esther Lander has joined Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe as part of the employment practice in Washington, D.C., the law firm said Wednesday.
Lander, who was previously with Akin, was the principal deputy chief of the Employment Litigation Section in the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, according to Orrick.
She focuses on complex employment discrimination claims and high-stakes government investigations, the DOJ said.
