Orrick Announces Tranter’s Appointment to Chief Digital Officer

Nigel Tranter has joined Orrick as chief digital officer and will lead the data and business transformation team, the firm said Wednesday.

Tranter served as chief technology officer at Pinset Masons, chief information officer at Gulf Bank in Kuwait, and chief architect of Europe and Middle East retail and business banking at Barclays. He will work to enhance performance and client service through data, AI, and other hyper-productivity tools, according to Orrick.

A five-person team joins with Tranter in Birmingham, UK, including Head of Data Chad Schuessler and Director of Business Transformation Adam Marsland, Orrick said.
