Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe is bringing on Paul Hastings partner Behnam Dayanim to build and lead a new digital commerce and gaming practice in Washington.
“Industries, banks, financial institutions, large TV networks, sports teams, and leagues that previously kept gaming at arm’s length are now embracing it,” Dayanim said. “They need counsel that understands what the issues are in doing that.”
Dayanim chaired both the advertising, gaming and promotions and data privacy and cybersecurity practice groups at Paul Hastings. He led the team representing Sinclair Broadcast Group in a partnership with gaming and betting company Bally’s Corp.
