Ann O’Leary joined OpenAI as vice president of global policy, leaving her role at Big Law firm Jenner & Block after more than four years.
O’Leary, whose hire was announced Tuesday, is the former chief of staff to California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and served as a leading policy adviser to Hillary Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign. She joined Jenner & Block in 2021 to launch the firm’s San Francisco office.
