O’Melveny’s Chidi Joins Sidley in Private Equity Finance Move

Sidley Austin is picking up O’Melveny & Myers partner Ike Chidi as its builds out the finance side of its private equity practice.

Chidi is joining Sidley as a partner in its global finance practice in its Century City office in Los Angeles, the firm announced on Friday.

Sidley is steadily building out its private equity practice, first on the mergers and acquisitions side and now in the finance piece, said Brian Fahrney, chair of the firm’s executive committee and former head of its M&A and private equity group.
