O’Melveny Taps Shawnna Yashar as Intellectual Property Partner

Shawnna Yashar joined O’Melveny & Myers as a partner in its intellectual property and technology practice group in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

Yashar advises technology and software companies on high-stakes IP litigation and complex commercial litigation. She handles matters and resolves disputes in district and federal courts, as well as before the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the US International Trade Commission, the firm said.

She joins from Lenovo, where she was director of global IP litigation and IP enforcement.
