O’Melveny & Myers Expands Into Texas, Opening Austin Office (1)

O’Melveny & Myers is opening up an office in Austin, Texas with four lawyers from Thompson & Knight as Big Law firms continue to expand into the Lone Star state.

Philip Oldham, head of Thompson & Knight’s Austin office, and senior counsel Rex VanMiddlesworth have joined O’Melveny. Two more Thompson & Knight partners are also poised to join the firm, Benjamin Hallmark and Katie Coleman, who was firmwide head of Thompson & Knight’s government and regulatory practice.
