O’Melveny Adds Former NBA Vice President Aronson as Partner

Benjamin Aronson joined O’Melveny & Myers as a partner in its general litigation practice group and entertainment, sports, and media industry group, the firm announced Wednesday.

Aronson will represent clients in professional and collegiate sports-related litigation and investigations, NIL matters, and consumer class actions, the firm said. He will also advise on crisis and risk management and data privacy concerns.

He was most recently vice president and assistant general counsel at the National Basketball Association, where he oversaw all global commercial litigation and provided support and guidance to various teams’ general counsel.
