Energy dealmaker Monica Hwang has joined O’Melveny as a partner in its new Dallas and Austin offices, the firm said Wednesday.
Hwang will be a member of O’Melveny’s Project Development & Real Estate Practice Group and the Energy Industry Group. She joins O’Melveny from King & Spalding, bringing more than 14 years of experience advising developers and energy companies on infrastructure projects and commercial transactions.
Hwang has advised on many of the largest “mega-LNG” ventures, including Freeport LNG’s $14 billion export terminal, Total’s $20 billion Mozambique LNG project, and the $29.7 billion Wheatstone LNG plant in Australia, O’Melveny said. She ...
