NY Prosecutor Who Quit Over Adams Case Joins Paul Clement’s Firm

Danielle Sassoon, the interim Manhattan US attorney who resigned over the Mayor Eric Adams case, is joining star litigator Paul Clement’s Supreme Court and appellate boutique, the law firm announced Monday.

Sassoon quit in February after then Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered her to drop a corruption case against Adams, saying she saw no good reason to do so. Clement in a statement called Sassoon a “superstar” and “a perfect complement to the firm’s deep appellate bench.”
