Adrienne Harris joined Sullivan & Cromwell as of counsel and policy adviser in its New York office, the firm announced Thursday.
Harris served as Superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services from August 2021 through October 2025, where she worked to improve the financial system and played a significant role in shaping cryptocurrency development and regulation globally, according to the firm. She became the first New York superintendent to serve as the state banking representative on the Financial Stability Oversight Council, the firm said.
