NRA’s Frazer Out as Legal Chief Amid Leadership Overhaul (1)

Michael Blaz was tapped as the National Rifle Association of America’s new general counsel as the gun rights group installs a new slate of leaders.

Blaz, who has spent at least two decades working for the NRA, replaces John Frazer as the organization’s top lawyer, according to two sources familiar with the situation. Frazer will remain in his post as secretary following a successful reelection, the sources said.

Frazer, Blaz, and the NRA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
