Northrop Pension Board, Workers Strike Deal in Long-Running Suit

Northrop Grumman Corp. retirees who say they were misled about their pensions struck a deal to settle a long-running lawsuit that’s been twice revived on appeal.

The parties asked Judge Otis D. Wright II to pause the case while they prepare settlement documentation and a stipulated dismissal. Their joint notice, filed Oct. 24 in the US District Court for the Central District of California, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement, and attorneys for the parties didn’t immediately respond to emailed inquiries.
