Nixon Peabody Adds David Barksdale, Joe Bini to Real Estate Team

David Barksdale and Joe Bini joined Nixon Peabody as partner and counsel, respectively, in its affordable housing and real estate practice in Los Angeles office, the firm announce Wednesday.

Barksdale advises lender and borrower clients, the firm said. His practice focuses on complex real estate transactions, including structured and syndicated finance, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, project finance, workouts and restructurings, and development and construction. Additionally, he represents institutional investors, such as life insurance companies, private equity funds, pension funds, and investment banks as lenders, borrowers, investors, and developers.
