The National Football League wants a second go at convincing the Second Circuit to dismiss a race discrimination case brought against the league by former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.
The NFL and three teams on Thursday asked the court to grant a rare en banc review of the case. A panel of judges ruled in August that Flores’ employment agreements, signed with various teams over the years, contain an “unenforceable” arbitration requirement that gives NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell final authority over arbitration disputes.
