New York Prosecutor Maria Cruz Melendez Returns to Skadden

Maria Cruz Melendez, a former federal criminal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, has rejoined Skadden as a partner in the government enforcement and white collar crime group in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Cruz Melendez will advise corporations and individuals on criminal and civil matters brought by federal and state authorities and address domestic and cross-border investigations and civil and administrative proceedings conducted by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Office of Foreign Assets Control, according to Skadden.
