New York City’s Prohibition on Stun Guns, Tasers Survives Appeal

Gun rights advocates failed Monday to revive their constitutional challenge to New York City’s ban on civilian possession of stun guns and tasers.

The New York City residents and groups that brought the suit failed to present evidence that stun guns are in common use and entitled to Second Amendment protections, the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said in a summary order.
