New Delaware Chancery Magistrate Has US Bankruptcy Skill Set

A trial attorney from the US Department of Justice office that oversees bankruptcy cases has been named as a new Magistrate in Chancery, a judicial officer who helps manage the Delaware business court’s burgeoning caseload.

Timothy J. Fox Jr. joined the Delaware Chancery Court on Monday, with chambers in Wilmington, according to a statement issued by the court. Fox spent 12 years with the Office of the US Trustee in Delaware “with responsibilities in all matters arising under the United States Bankruptcy Code, primarily Chapter 11 cases.”
